Area nurse gets audience with President Trump

The pen the president used to sign a proclamation on National Nurses Day was given to the nurse from Bloomsburg.

WASHINGTON, D.C., USA — A nurse from Bloomsburg who traveled to New York City to help fight coronavirus got to meet the president on Wednesday.  

Luke Adams was in the Oval Office as President Trump signed a proclamation on National Nurse's Day. 

Trump gave the pen to Adams. 

The man from Columbia County was one of several nurses invited to the White House.
