Boil advisory issued after water main break in Clinton County

CLINTON COUNTY, Pa. — A water boil advisory has been issued for part of Clinton County.

Appalachian Utilities issued the advisory after a water main break early Saturday morning along the 400 block of Park Avenue in Pine Creek Township near Lock Haven.

Homes and businesses in Crestmont, Sagamore Hills, and lower Park Avenue are under the advisory.

Those affected are advised to bring all water to a rolling boil, let it boil for one minute, and allow it to cool before drinking, making ice, washing dishes, brushing teeth, and using it for food preparation.

There is no word yet on when the advisory will be lifted.
