CENTRE COUNTY, Pa. — Two men have pleaded guilty for their roles in a deadly hazing case at Penn State.
Investigators say Brendan Young, 28, and Daniel Casey, 27, took part in the hazing that ultimately killed Timothy Piazza.
Back in 2017, Piazza drank large amounts of alcohol as part of an initiation event at Beta Theta Pi fraternity.
Officials say he fell multiple times and died days later as a result.
Young was president of the fraternity at the time, and Casey served as vice president and pledge master.
Both pleaded guilty to hazing and reckless endangerment charges. They are set to be sentenced on October 1.
