CARBON COUNTY, Pa. — Folks in Carbon County were enjoying the weather with a race weekend.
Participants used all sorts of vehicles to race up the course as part of the Weatherly Hillclimb.
Around 90 drivers took part in the race, all trying to get to the top the fastest.
There were also food stands and different vendors throughout the course.
"The money they make here, we have the two events a year, and that's their major fundraisers. Without this, I don't know how they would provide, how they would pay for uniforms, and yeah, we have church groups. I mean, it might be paying somebody's heating bill or whatever, you know," said Joe Cyburt, Weatherly Hillclimb Association.
The event raises money for nonprofit organizations in Carbon County.
It continues on Sunday.
