LEHIGHTON, Pa. — This holiday got even brighter at a park in Lehighton.
More than 170 trees are illuminated in the upper and lower park of Lehighton along 1st Street for the borough’s annual “Christmas in the Park” event.
People and businesses adopt the trees and decorate them. Some of the pines are dedicated in honor of people who have passed away, some are giving trees offering free items to those in need, and others offer some ways for people to help out a local charity.
This year’s supplier for the trees is Rehrig’s Nursery.
