CARBON COUNTY, Pa. — A Carbon County man is dead after leading police on a high-speed chase.
Officials say they tried to pull over Matthew Stepp Thursday night in Franklin Township.
Stepp refused to stop and led police on a chase into Towamensing Township.
Officials say Stepp lost control of the vehicle, went off the road, and hit a tree.
He died Friday night at the hospital.
