EAST PENN TOWNSHIP — Pennsylvania Game Commission officials said Wednesday that charges have been filed against the person they believe shot a bald eagle last month near the Schuylkill/Carbon County line.
Officials accuse Carl Marion, 46, of Lehighton of killing the eagle and five great blue herons that were found near his home.
Marion could face fines and restitution totaling almost $4,000.
