CARBON COUNTY, Pa. — One person is dead after a crash in Carbon County.
Officials with the Carbon County Coroner's Office responded to the crash along I-80 westbound in Kidder Township shortly after 8 p.m. Tuesday.
State police say Charles Manfre, 71, of Wilkes-Barre, died in the crash.
Police say Manfre was found dead inside his SUV at the bottom of a steep embankment along Interstate 80 west.
There is no word on what caused the crash.
State police are investigating the deadly wreck in Carbon County.
