WEATHERLY, Pa. — A 3-year-old girl was struck by a vehicle in Carbon County.
It happened along 2nd Street Sunday in Weatherly.
Witnesses say the girl was playing with her father when she attempted to cross the street to be with her mother and was hidden behind a parked car before stepping out onto the road.
Luckily, the 3-year-old has only minor injuries.
No charges will be filed against the driver.
Police urge drivers to use caution and pay attention to their surroundings.
