JIM THORPE, Pa. — The two-day Mauch Chunk Pow Wow near Jim Thorpe features various activities, from drumming and dancing to raffles and learning about Lenape culture.
Saturday night wrapped up with a performance by Shadow of the Mountain.
"It's great to share our culture with somebody that's out of their culture that they don't know anything about. To take them under our wing, and show them the way of life, and the way, our dancing, our songs, and stuff like that," said Matthew White Eagle of Weatherly.
If you missed the celebration on Saturday night, the event continues Sunday from 11 p.m. to 6 p.m.
The pow wow is free admission, and any donations go towards the Lenape Nation of Pennsylvania's scholarship fund.
