Walgreens is planning to close 200 stores across the country.
Plans are still being finalized and the company did not reveal a time frame for the closures.
Walgreens says it is trying to reduce expenses by $1.5 billion over the next three years.
The chain has more than 8,000 stores spread across the country.
The company did not say if any Walgreens stores in our area are on the list of stores that are set to close.
