BRADFORD COUNTY, Pa. — Troy and Canton faced off for a good cause as both school districts have spent months collecting soda can tabs in a 'Tab War.'
The Tab War has been going on for three years now, with each school district winning once. The competition benefits the Ronald McDonald House in Danville to help families who need housing when visiting the hospital.
On Friday, as Troy and Canton competed on the football field, the results of the Tab War were announced.
Troy won the tab war with 1,190 pounds to Canton's 828 pounds. Troy will keep the Tab War plaque for another year.
