BERWICK -- Supporters of state Representative David Millard broke out in song at his election party at reliance fire hall in Berwick as he was declared the winner yet again.
"I am truly humbled. The longer that you serve, the longer of a record that you have that you can be taken to task over," said Rep. David Millard/(R) 109th district.
Millard's been the state representative for the 109th district since winning a special election in 2003. But he said he took the race against his Democratic challenger Dan Knorr seriously.
At just 27 years old, Knorr is the mayor of Bloomsburg. He said he's happy with his campaign despite the outcome.
"I've learned so much. I have met so many new people and I have friends I didn't even know I had because they just came out and supported us and really supported us. We had a lot of fun doing it. It's just an incredible experience," said Knorr.
Now that Representative Millard has been voted into this spot for the sixth time, he said he'll just continue to serve this region as he has been for the past number of years.
