SUNBURY -- Authorities said Sunbury Police were forced to shoot a 17-year-old after he led them on a chase and tried to hit a police officer.
The chase began around 1 a.m. Wednesday and ended on Front Street.
Officers said they asked the teen to move his car for street cleaning and he drove off. Authorities said the teen almost hit a cop and slammed into cars.
Police opened fire and hit the teen. He is in the hospital.
Sunbury police have not released a name or condition.
Front Street was closed for a few hours Wednesday morning during the investigation.
