SHENANDOAH -- It's a business owner's dream, to have a product so much in demand that people line up to buy it.
That's exactly what's happening in Shenandoah this Christmas season.
Folks from all over our area lined up in front of Kowalonck's Kielbasy shop in Shenandoah. One of the people in line was John Fox. He said it's worth the wait.
"It is good kielbasi, in other words even in Christmas or Easter I've got to get it from the family."
Ed Rist of Pottsville explained he's in line every year.
"It's the best stuff around."
Lisa Giesen drove nearly an hour from Selinsgrove.
"It's the best kielbasi there is. Take it home for my family I have orders from my friends, we do it every year," said Giesen.
Inside the shop it was a sea of people ordering. The staff did its best to keep the line moving.
The store's owner, Mark Kowalonek said being consistent is his key to success.
"We have the same recipe for all our products. They're just tweaked out a little different, whether it be a hot dog or a jerky or a stick, this is ground finer so it sticks together so you can have a sandwich or anyway you like a meatloaf," said Kowalonek.
The Kowalonek's have been in business for 103 years, and they predict the line of customers will continue 100 years from now.
