WILKES-BARRE — A man suspected in the homicide of his wife was arraigned from his hospital bed Monday in Luzerne County.
Investigators believe Vito Aiello shot and killed his wife, Jane, last week and then turned the gun on himself at their home along Andover Street in Wilkes-Barre.
Authorities tell us the couple’s teenage son heard his father shoot his mother, ran to their room, and then saw his father shoot himself.
Aiello remains hospitalized with serious head injuries
Bail has been set at $1 million.
