BRADFORD COUNTY, Pa. — The cleanup process went underway after a hazardous spill entered a stream in Bradford County.
South Creek EMC was alerted by Bradford County EMA 2 about a hazardous materials spill at a residence on Wheeler Road in South Creek township. Upon arrival at the scene, it was discovered that the spill had entered the tributary waterway and was headed downstream.
Damming has been completed in several areas along the downstream waterway(s). The cleanup process is underway and will be ongoing throughout the coming days.
According to South Creek Township EMC, there is no immediate threat to any residents in or around the affected area(s).
