On Monday morning Newswatch 16 meteorologist Joe Snedeker won't be in the backyard. He'll be embarking on Go Joe 19 from Charlottesville, Virginia.
He'll make his way from Monticello to the St. Joseph's Festival in Lackawanna County on Friday.
Newswatch 16's Clay LePard is along for the ride and has more on the starting point.
Joe will be pedaling nearly 100 miles per day from the starting point of Thomas Jefferson’s Plantation Home (Monticello) which is the scene on the back of a modern nickel. After passing through the Washington, D.C. area, Joe will head to where the Susquehanna River empties into the Chesapeake Bay (Havre de Grace) and then follow the river all the way back to the St. Joseph’s Festival at Marywood University.
