BRADFORD COUNTY, Pa. — A father is suing three state troopers for fatally shooting his son last May in Bradford County.
Investigators say Hunter Foust, 15, was sent home from school after writing something offensive.
When troopers went to his house, Foust ran away with a gun.
Investigators say Foust pointed the gun at one trooper who fired shots, killing Foust.
The wrongful death lawsuit claims that Foust did not point the gun at the troopers and that excessive force was used.
The Bradford County District Attorney previously determined that the shooting was a lawful use of force.
