TUSCARORA TOWNSHIP- State police in Towanda are investigating a case of animal cruelty.
Investigators say it happened Saturday near Wyalusing around 2:30 p.m.
State police say 35-year-old Michael Vevetoe got into an argument with a woman he was living with.
When she went outside to walk her dog, authorities say Vevetoe went outside and shot the dog three or four times.
Vevetoe was charged with reckless endangerment and animal cruelty.
