SAYRE, Pa. — A man from Wyoming County remained in critical condition Wednesday, five days after his motorcycle crashed head-on with a Jeep in Bradford County.

That crash happened just before 4 p.m. Friday on Leraysville Road in Warren Township, state police at Towanda said.

Robert Bromley, a Harley-Davidson rider, entered the opposing lane of travel while rounding a curve just north of Jackson Road, troopers said. As he did, the 65-year-old from Laceyville collided with a Jeep Cherokee heading the other way.

The impact threw Bromley from his motorcycle and badly wounded him. The driver of the Jeep, Tracy Kitchen, 43, of Rome, was unharmed.

Bromley, who wore a motorcycle helmet, was rushed by helicopter to Guthrie Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, where officials said he remained in critical condition.
