Chelsea gives you an up-close look at the NYC Marathon | Check It Out

Newswatch 16's Chelsea Strub takes us on a tour of New York City's five boroughs with Team Allied Services and You.

NEW YORK — Newswatch 16's Chelsea Strub ran the NYC Marathon with a "few of her closest friends."

She joined the Team Allied Services and You to tackle the 26.2-mile race throughout the city.

The team's goal is to raise funds for patients and residents at Allied Services. Donations will benefit children and adults with disabilities.

The race takes runners from Staten Island through each of the five New York City boroughs and ends in Central Park.

Every year, runners volunteer to independently train and raise funds as they pledge to complete the TCS New York City Marathonone of the largest charity efforts in the country.

With the support of WNEP, major sponsors, volunteer runners, and you, Team Allied Services will continue to raise funds and awareness for patients at Allied Services.
