WYOMING, Pa. — Class is in session at Marianacci's in Wyoming, where the art of pasta making is taught weekly.
"We've been putting some handmade pasta situations together that people can kind of learn and get excited about making homemade pasta," said owner Dominic Marianacci.
Marianacci's celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2022, but the history of fresh, homemade pasta goes back much further.
"Some people have it in their heads that it's difficult, that it takes us some kind of wizard or something to put it together. But this is a 4,000-year-old food. People have been making it for a while."
Marianacci is sharing it with anyone who wants to learn. In class, you are given all the ingredients and tools you will need for any of the 600 pastas that could be made.
You'll leave the class with freshly made pasta to take home and enjoy.
