WAYNE COUNTY, Pa. — A nonprofit in Lackawanna County that helps veterans and first responders is introducing a new program.
Camp Freedom is now hosting Fishing Fridays on the second and fourth Friday of each month.
The program gives veterans and first responders seeking connection or therapy in nature an opportunity to get outside with others who have shared experiences in service and a common interest in the sport of fly fishing on any level, a chance to fish in a secluded section of the Lackawanna River.
Camp Freedom's Fishing Fridays is Open to veterans, first responders, their family members, and Gold Star families. You can register HERE.
