A visit to Ritter's Cider Mill is charming, quaint, picturesque and loaded with fall foods and family fun! The Ritter family has been making cider since 1979! When Home and Backyard stopped by, we not only enjoyed the cider mill, but the delicious fresh baked pies and famous apple cider doughnuts served up hot right out of their kitchen.
During the fall season they bake over 200 pies a week! We learned how they make their traditional apple pies using the fresh picked apples right from their market. In addition to apple pies, they make apple cider donuts with or without cinnamon sugar, pumpkin pie, apple crumb, strawberry rhubarb, and blueberry pies to name a few. They also carry specialty products like jams, jellies, pickled items and more.
Ritter's Cider Mill is also a quaint stop for fall family activities! They have hay rides, a petting zoo, children's corn maze, pumpkin patch, apple sling shot, photo spots and more!
