MIFFLINBURG, Pa. — Here is a DIY fall project for you using your end of season pool noodles! With some cling wrap, paint, zip ties, and fall leaf pics you can have an amazing autumn branch décor piece that will frame your front door way!
Inspired Designs by Keith Phelps created this beautiful fall décor branch that is a great way to frame a doorway or arbor for fall and Halloween!
Keith used pool noodles and cut sections out of one of them to make branch points and made notches in the other one to place the "branches" He then wrapped each of the pieces with cling wrap (you can also tape the cling wrap if needed) After the branches were wrapped and inserted into the "trunk" section, Keith spray painted the tree with brown and black for a realistic bark look. When that was dry, he placed it framing his door and then added fall foliage pics to complete the tree look.
This piece is very versatile. For Halloween you could add black and purple leaves or for Christmas you can spray the branches white and add faux greens and berries.
