DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa. — Pumpkin Palooza is returning to Hershey Gardens this weekend.
It’s an event that’s full of creepy creatures, fall displays, candy, and of course—pumpkins!
There will be more than 200 hand-painted pumpkins, representing a variety of themes, on display throughout the Seasonal Display Garden and in the Hoop House.
These pumpkins show the artistic work of students from Bishop McDevitt High School, Hershey High School, Lower Dauphin High School and Milton Hershey School.
In addition to the hand-painted pumpkins, you can witness large sculptures made out of multiple pumpkins.
The Creepy Creatures Gallery is also open to guests. You can get up close with live animals including tarantulas, frogs, walking sticks, and jungle nymphs. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., you can even hold cockroaches.
Hands-on activities for the kids are also offered at Pumpkin Palooza, and face painting is available for an additional charge.
Pumpkin Palooza is included in general admission, which also includes entry into the indoor tropical Butterfly Atrium. Tickets can be purchased online here, or in person at the admissions desk upon arrival.
