DUBLIN, Ohio — Fall is getting a whole lot sweeter at Wendy's. The nationwide chain is releasing a new 'Salted Caramel' Frosty for a limited time.
According to a press release by The Wendy's Company, the new menu item that's both salty and sweet began rolling out to stores Tuesday, November 12. The fast food giant says the new frosty features notes of rich, salty caramel.
Wendy's recommends pairing the treat with the new Mushroom Bacon Cheeseburger. The new burger features roasted mushrooms, crispy bacon, Muenster cheese, and a creamy garlic spread.
"Wendy's fall menu items were crafted to bring both comfort and joy to our customers, tapping into the flavors they crave as temperatures drop," said John Li, Wendy's Vice President of Culinary Innovation. "From the sweetness of Salted Caramel with our famous Frosty to the savory richness of Mushroom Bacon Cheeseburger and zesty Taco Salad, we're launching new menu items with depth and variety for every fan."
The Salted Caramel Frosty will replace the Vanilla Frosty for a limited time at participating U.S. Wendy's.
