HARFORD TOWNSHIP -- The Harford Fair in Susquehanna County officially opened Monday for its 158th season.
Folks braved the heat and flocked to the rides, food stands, and entertainment, too.
For some, this was their first taste of Harford Fair fun. Others have made this a life-long summer tradition. 9-year-old Joe Heller has been coming to this fair with his family since he was born and he loves the rides.
Albert White's fair experience is a bit more laid back. He makes signs and has been coming to the Harford Fair for more than 30 years now.
He used to travel to dozens of fairs a year. Now, he only comes here.
"I did thirty fairs at one time. I only have one now, that's this one,” said White of Lewistown, Pennsylvania.
The Harford Fair runs through Saturday, August 22nd in Susquehanna County.
