PENNSYLVANIA, USA — Many foods have become staples of a traditional Thanksgiving dinner, but with so many different choices, which are the most popular? Online-Casino.com has the answer.

The website surveyed 2,500 Americans nationwide to learn which Thanksgiving foods are favorites of each state. The survey included data on Americans' favorite sides, desserts and more.

Here are some of Pennsylvania's favorite Thanksgiving foods!

Sides

The survey found that the most popular side in the country is mashed potatoes, with 19 states crowning it as the favorite. However, Pa. was not one of the 19, as its favorite side is green bean casserole.

Green bean casserole is also a favorite in Iowa, Michigan, Nevada and Ohio.

Desserts

Out of every dessert served after Thanksgiving dinner, pumpkin pie is the most popular in the country. Pumpkin pie is the favorite in 38 states, including Pa.

Other top picks include pecan pie and apple pie.

Main Course

On a more national level, Online-Casinos.com determined that 54% of Americans prefer white meat over dark meat when eating their turkey. Only 31% prefer dark meat, and 15% have no preference.

While eating said turkey, 25% of Americans like to use a moderate amount of gravy. About 15% prefer their turkey without gravy, while 21% like to "let the river flow."
