HARRISBURG, Pa. — A new signature Pa. Dairymen's Association milkshake will make its debut ahead of the 2024 Pennsylvania Farm Show.
In collaboration with The GIANT Company, the brand-new, delicious Salted Caramel milkshake will be featured at select stores across Central Pa. in December.
The Pennsylvania Dairymen's Association, one of the state's leading advocates for dairy farmers, is celebrating the supermarket chain's 100th anniversary with the signature shake.
GIANT will host the treat across the select stores, even offering a free milkshake to the first 100 fans at each location. Additional milkshakes will also be available for purchase while supplies last.
The pop-up promotion event will be held at the following locations:
- Friday, Dec. 8, 11 a.m. - 6 p.m., Camp Hill GIANT located at 3301 Trindle Road, Camp Hill, Pa.
- Saturday, December 9, 11 a.m. - 5 p.m., Lancaster GIANT located at 1360 Columbia Avenue, Lancaster, Pa.
- Friday, December 15, 11 a.m. - 5 p.m., Hershey GIANT located at 1250 Cocoa Avenue, Hershey, Pa.
- Saturday, December 16, 11 a.m. - 5 p.m., Carlisle GIANT located at 950 Walnut Bottom Road, Carlisle, Pa.
“The 2024 PA Farm Show will be sweetened by the addition of our new, delicious Salted Caramel Milkshake in celebration of The GIANT Company’s 100th anniversary," said Pa. Dairymen’s Executive Director Dave Smith. "We always have fun when we offer our fans a new featured milkshake flavor and this year is extra special... We are thrilled to celebrate with milkshake fans starting at our Pre-Farm Show Pop-Ups.”
“The GIANT Company couldn’t imagine a more delicious way to culminate our 100th-anniversary celebrations than by partnering with the Pa. Dairymen’s Association and creating the salted caramel milkshake,” said Rebecca Lupfer, the chief financial officer of The GIANT Company.
For those who can't make it to the pop-up events, no worries. The Salted Caramel shake will be added to the legend-DAIRY milkshake flavors already offered by the Pa. Dairymen's Association.
The 2024 PA Farm Show opens on Friday, January 5, 2024, with a Food Court ONLY opening at noon with free parking. The Full Farm Show opens on Saturday, January 6 and runs through January 13, 2024.
At the Farm Show, the Dairymen will also offer:
- Delectable golden-fried Mozzarella Cheese Cubes served with Marinara,
- Scrumptious Grilled Cheese Sandwiches,
- Ice Cream and fresh, locally-produced PA White and Chocolate Milk.
