CUMBERLAND COUNTY, Pa. — Two locally-owned businesses are releasing a limited-time beer collaboration.

Duck Donuts and Zeroday Brewing Company announced their first beer collaboration, called Duck Duck Gose.

Brewed with actual Duck Donuts and the flavor reminiscent of the popular Pina Colada donut, lemon icing with shredded coconut, the beer is a German-style gose, a tart ale with hints of lemon, coconut and sea salt, according to the businesses.

The release of the beer is also tied to the 8-year anniversary of the Mechanicsburg Duck Donuts shop on the Carlisle Pike.

On Saturday, July 13 from 12-4 p.m., the shop will host a community event filled with local vendors and activities for kids. Zeroday will be onsite selling cans of Duck Duck Gose, Urban Churn will be offering scoops of Maple Bacon ice cream churned with Duck Donuts and a few other vendors plan to participate, on top of specially-priced half dozen donuts for $8.
