Jack Culkin is one of the four faces you’ll likely see on Newswatch 16 as he reports at 10:00 and 11:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
A native of Northeastern Pennsylvania, he grew up just 8 minutes away in the Borough of Dunmore, but his stories cover nearly all of the station’s 17 counties.
Jack joined the station in June of 2022 and is the youngest member of the WNEP team. This was less than a month after graduating from Ithaca College in upstate New York, majoring in Television and Radio Studies and minoring in Journalism.
Jack is one of four siblings including a fraternal twin brother. He’s a huge San Francisco Giants fan and spends most of his time before work hitting the gym.
His goal in becoming part of the WNEP team is to continue reporting the stories he watched growing up, offering a platform for the people of Northeastern and Central Pennsylvania to be informed and heard.
