More Signs in Scranton Remove Former Mayor’s Name

SCRANTON, Pa. -- More signs bearing the name of the former mayor of Scranton are being fixed.

William Courtright's name has been removed from the welcome sign on the Central Scranton Expressway.

Courtright resigned and pleaded guilty to corruption charges last week.

I wanna see more footage of Courtright glaring at the news cameras. He was madder than a wet hen. LMAO

I have an idea. How about from now on Scranton doesn’t display the mayor’s name anymore on the signs. The next name will probably have to come down too. And the one after that. And the one after that.

You know — People are on TalkBack 16 having a bird because his name was still on the signs, but yet you never see people $itching about how crapppy the roads in Scranton have been under every Mayor over the last 30 years

The thing is some of those roads are STATE roads, meaning that PennDOT should be the ones on the hook to pave them. Not to mention the city should grow a pair and go after the utilities for digging them up and then barely patching them. That’s what I’m doing right now with the water company.

They want to send people here from ANOTHER company to replace my water meter after they messed up my driveway and sidewalks with curb cuts. The one paving company tried putting them back ‘the way they were’, but still left part of the cuts to where water and ice can get in there and crack them apart. They’re not getting into this house until they repave my ENTIRE front sidewalk and put back in part of my curb by my driveway. Even then they’re putting it IN WRITING and notarized that if they mess anything up they will fix it to ‘how it was before they worked on it’.
