SCRANTON, Pa. -- It wasn't just the parade being celebrated Saturday in Scranton.
Before the parade stepped off, Bishop Joseph Bambera celebrated mass at Saint Peter's Cathedral on Wyoming Avenue downtown.
The mass is a yearly tradition before the parade in Scranton.
