GREAT BEND TOWNSHIP, Pa. -- BREAKING NEWS UPDATE: State police said Quentin Millard had been taken into custody Wednesday evening. No other details have been released at this time.

Police are searching for a man in connection with a homicide investigation in Susquehanna County.

Troopers are looking for Quentin Millard, 22, in the Great Bend Township area.

Police say Millard killed John Amrein, 52, on Monday after a confrontation in a home in Great Bend Township.

Investigators say Millard and his girlfriend Andrea Martel killed John Amrein and dumped his body in a remote spot near Millard's home.

Troopers from Pennsylvania and New York were back and forth on Highlands Road near New Milford all morning. They were even in the sky using a helicopter to search for Quentin Millard, wanted for homicide in the death of 52-year-old John Amrein.

Troopers were looking for Millard, last seen Tuesday near his home and accused of assaulting then shooting Amrein at a mobile home near New Milford.

Court papers say Andrea Martel told Amrein she's pregnant and he might be the father.

Millard and Amrein fought, shot each other, and eventually, Amrein died.

Now Martel is also locked up charged with homicide and abuse of a corpse.

"We're looking for Quentin Millard. If you see him, call state police or Gibson barracks here. Don't approach, he may be armed," said Trooper Robert Urban.

Troopers believe Amrein's body was the one found Thursday morning not far from Millard's home.

Court papers indicate Millard and Martel drove the body there Tuesday and dragged it in plastic bags and left it in the woods one day after Amrein's 52nd birthday.

Due to the heat and humidity, troopers have scaled back their search for Millard but will keep a lookout for him.

Investigators believe he has a gun and should be considered dangerous

An autopsy on the recovered body is set for Thursday.
