LACKAWANNA COUNTY -- A national retailer is making its first move into Northeastern Pennsylvania.
HomeGoods is moving into the Viewmont Mall in the Scranton area.
The home furnishings retailer will go in part of the space left when Sears closed in early 2016.
Dick's Sporting Goods and Field and Stream will take up the rest of the old Sears.
It's all expected to open by the end of 2017.
