SCRANTON —┬áBernie Sanders will visit Scranton on Saturday for a rally to campaign for Hillary Clinton and Democratic candidate for U.S. Senate Katie McGinty.

The rally, set for 10:30 a.m., was originally scheduled to be held on Courthouse Square but has been moved to the Scranton High School gymnasium because of weather concerns.

The rally is being held by the PSEA and the AFT, the two teachers unions in the state.

The event is open to the public.

The Marketplace At Steamtown is offering free parking for people going to the rally and there will be buses to take supporters to the high school.

Sanders visited Scranton in April when he was a candidate for president during the primary elections.

Will anyone ask Sanders about that half-million dollar vacation home he just bought?

    I guess Socialism pays, eh?

I’m very busy but I hear that local self proclaimed “journalist” Steve Corbett will be there to cut off his ponytail LIVE ON AIR in honor of his idol, Hillary.

Marathon had planned their expo well in advance at that location and time. Sanders shouldn’t be allowed there at that time. No excuse. Stupid idea to have him there with several thousand runners and family too.
