Driver Killed, Two Children Hurt in Crash in Carbon County

MAHONING TOWNSHIP — A driver was killed and two children were hurt in a crash in Carbon County.

It happened on Mill Road near Summit Hill just before noon Saturday.

According to Mahoning Township police, the driver of a Jeep Grand Cherokee lost control on a downhill curve and rolled down an embankment.

The driver died at the scene. He was identified by police as Anthony Williams, 34, of Summit Hill.

Both children are expected to be OK.

    Well I hope you will update this story when the names are released but I highly doubt you will. It’s frustrating time and time again to read stories like this with absolutely no follow-up. There used to be a thing called investigative journalism.
