HONESDALE -- A 150-year-old fence that was removed from a park in Wayne County is back.

The fence around the Civil War Memorial in Honesdale's Central Park has been restored and put back where it's stood for more than a century.

A community member saw the fence was replaced last month because it was too badly deteriorated and saved it.

Dave Rickert had lots of help from the community and fixed the fence for free. He returned it Friday to the park.
