JIM THORPE -- A fire chief's wife, accused of stealing more than $32,000 from a volunteer fire company, has been sentenced in Carbon County.
Amanda Devine was sentence to three to 12 months behind bars, followed by three years of probation.
Devine admitted to stealing about $32,000 from the Kidder Township Volunteer Fire Company relief fund.
Last year, investigators said Devine would write checks to herself and cash them.
Her husband was fire chief at the time of the thefts.
