More compressed natural gas stations are expected to open across the state.
PennDOT announced Monday that the Trillium CNG team, which includes Larson Design Group of Williamsport, will help with the design of CNG fueling stations at 29 public transit sites over the next five years.
Eventually, seven of those places -- including COLTS in Scranton -- will have public fueling.
When the project is completed, the fueling stations will supply gas to more than 1,600 CNG buses at transit agencies across the state.
