RICE TOWNSHIP — Newswatch 16 stopped at a rest stop along Interstate 81 in Luzerne County Sunday and found these folks doing some holiday traveling.
Though it’s been unseasonably warm the past few months, some snowbirds are still heading south to take advantage of even warmer conditions.
When asked what he was going to do at Myrtle Beach, Terry Arnott from Canada said he’s going to “golf, golf some more, golf again.”
These smart travelers used Sunday’s comfortable driving conditions before colder and wetter conditions make their way to our area in the coming days.
