WILLIAMSPORT -- With 100 percent of precincts reporting, Republican Mayor Gabe Campana appears to have defeated Democrat Emily Gale in the race for mayor of Williamsport.

This will be Campana's third term.

"We've worked very, very hard in regards to creating jobs, creating a lot of progress, and of course, curbing this crime that we've had for a period of time," said Mayor Campana, regarding his plans for his third term.

Campana defeated Williamsport City Council President Bill Hall in the Republican primary election in May.

Campana is going into his third term because the press did not look into all the unethical and illegal things he’s done lately. I don’t blame WNEP, Williamsport isn’t really their wheelhouse. It’s the Sun-Gazette paper.
