OLD FORGE -- A month after a hit and run sent an elderly couple to the hospital, police in Lackawanna County have made an arrest.
Malkolm Blackshear surrendered to police Tuesday on charges he left the scene of August's hit and run in Old Forge.
Police say he took off after hitting the couple as they crossed near the intersection of South Main Street and Moosic Road. Neither person was badly hurt.
