NEWFOUNDLAND -- A man has been sentenced for killing his wife and neglecting dozens of dogs in Wayne County.
Officials say Bertrand Schroeder, of Newfoundland, was sentenced Thursday to 20 years in jail.
The man shot his wife back in 2012 at their home in Wayne County.
During the investigation, authorities found more than fifty dogs living in deplorable conditions.
