SCRANTON -- Rape charges have been filed against a man accused of sexually assaulting a girl for years, starting when she was just four years old.
Authorities accused Jay Emerizy, 48, of Kalakaska, Michigan of assaulting the girl in several locations in Lackawanna and Wayne Counties.
Investigators said the victim now has two children, fathered by Emerizy.
The Lackawanna County District Attorney's Office is filing paperwork to bring the suspect back to our area to face charges.
