SCRANTON -- People came out to support a school through exercise.

All Saints Academy held their annual 5k Saturday morning at McDade Park in Scranton.

This year's race was named for Lenny Zupon of Old Forge, a seventh grade student who was killed in a crash Labor Day weekend.

Some of the money raised at the race is expected to go to a scholarship fund named for Zupon.

“This year we decided to rename it the Lenny Zupon ASA 5K as a way to say thanks to the community for being so supportive of the school and the family," said Jennifer Kreiger of Old Forge.

One of the goals of the race was to promote health and wellness throughout the community.
