SCRANTON -- The foundation is down for the new $47.5 million dollar rehab education center at the University of Scranton.

1,200 cubic yards of concrete was poured Saturday in Lackawanna County.

The 600 block of Linden Street was closed from 4:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. while crews worked.

The 200 block of Jefferson Ave was down to one lane.

The building is in the spot where Leahy Hall used to be.

Officials from the university say the project should take about a year to complete.
