BERWICK — A woman from Columbia County faces a slew of charges after police said she attacked an officer.
Authorities said it started when officers were responding to an incident in a parking lot in Berwick on Wednesday.
Police said Sabrina Potter, 35, had a gun and was making threats. According to authorities, a family member managed to grab the gun from Potter. In the exchange, a bullet fired. No one was hurt.
Berwick Police arrested Potter. While in custody, authorities said Potter kicked an officer and broke a window in a police cruiser.
Potter faces charges including assault, reckless endangerment, and vandalism.
